Youth Bat Sales Timeline

• Jan ‐ July 2017 • 2 ¼” bats ‐ Accounts must sell off ALL 2 ¼” bats – Players  may be hesitant to buy 2 ¼” bats without any  grandfathering. • 2 5/8” bats – Accounts can still sell these bats to USSSA  players

• July 15, 2017 ‐ Manufacturers can begin shipping USABats to  accounts

• Sept 2017 thru Aug 2018 – Accounts will need to fill the  pipeline.  Anticipate accounts buying and selling 150‐200% of  normal year units.  

• Sept 2018

• Market will begin to stabilize.   • Must monitor participation trends – will more players shift  to USSSA?
