Dear Sports, Inc. Dealer, In January Spalding entered into an agreement with BSN SPORTS in four (4) team sports categories: Baseball, Football, Soccer and Volleyball. As a part of this agreement, BSN will source, distribute, and service all the products currently offered in these categories. Spalding will continue to directly service and focus resources on all aspects of the Spalding Basketball, Dudley Softball, Carbontek and Spalding Equipment business. Considering this decision, Sports, Inc. has decided to terminate the central billing program with Spalding on all direct business (Basketball, Softball, Carbontek & Equipment). Effective July 1, 2018, Spalding will no longer be able to accept orders from dealers on the Sports, Inc. accounts for both Spalding Inflate/Dudley Softball and Spalding Equipment. Any claims for credits on your Sports, Inc. account must be resolved by June 29, 2018. Over the next few weeks your Spalding/Dudley sales representative will be in touch with you to discuss individual account set up options. You can also reach out to your rep to get the necessary account setup paperwork. As part of this transition, Spalding has agreed to honor the current Platinum pricing offered to all Sports, Inc. dealers through 6/31/2019. All open booking/hot show orders after 7/1 will need to be either moved up to ship before 7/1, transferred to your new account, or canceled. Spalding will honor the hot show special price on the TF-500 basketballs but there will be no $2.00 rebate. The hot show rebate and any other applicable rebates will be honored on shipments before 7/1. While Spalding/Dudley will not be able to attend Sports, Inc. shows going forward, Spalding will continue to do business with Sports, Inc. dealers and will continue to offer programs and specials exclusively for this group in the direct categories listed above. Any invoices after July 1 will be on your direct account, not on your Sports, Inc. account.
