Advantages of UPS through Sports, Inc.: You earn a UPS Tiered Rebate (at least 17%) on all dollars paid to UPS. This includes all accessorial charges like fuel surcharges, residential delivery surcharges, out of area delivery surcharges, etc. Small Package Insurance Policy: • As of 11/12/14, there is no need to insure UPS small package shipments if the replacement value per package is less than $500. UPS will cover the first $100 and Sports, Inc. will cover the next $400 if the package is lost or damaged. Your store must be on the Sports, Inc. UPS contract to qualify for this benefit. • IF you chose to insure: • Members on the Sports, Inc. UPS program are receiving a better discount when declar- ing a value to protect against loss or physical damage to package contents. • The declared value charge of $.85 per $100 has been reduced to $.62 per $100. This is before your Tiered Rebate from Sports, Inc. PROGRAM IMPROVEMENT 1/8/17: UPS Dimensional Weight calculation waiver has been put in place for packages that are greater than 1,728 cubic inches. For Sports, Inc. Members UPS will continue using the 166 divisor to cal- culate dimensional weight rather than the recently implemented 139 divisor. The waiver will save
